db:U is Dangerbox Recordings latest creation; a weekly show with three DJs to not only give you the pleasure of a weekly broadcast but to expand your progressive horizons to new sounds and make sure your office job is a tad more exciting. Tune in every Wednesday 1100 AM-1300 PM EST to get your fill of progressive goodness from three awesome DJs: Eric Shaw, Arc, and STERiO. Remember where you heard it first!
Eric Shaw
Eric Shaw has been making music more or less since the age of 11. Now 19 and a hardheaded FLStudio-user, he’s gone from adolescent music junkie to fully feathered music producer and hopefully soon to be established DJ. One of his greatest achievements yet was the feature in June’s Mix Mag issue with “Blindsided” as tune of the month which then ushered a remarkable position on the Beatport trance top 100 chart at place 16. More recently he got yet another feature in Mix Mag, this time it was EP of the month with his “Skywatch EP”, released on Dangerbox Recordings.
Erik Lagerholm, which is his real name, is a goal oriented person and he’s deeply determined to get where he wants and that is an established position in the EDM scene. That has been his dream for many years at this point. The next step for Erik is the new dbU weekly show where he will broadcast the absolute entirety of his musical mind in order to show people his true qualities.
Arc
Arc, which is Douglas Hazelwood, Artificial Dreamer, and Noosh will be airing Week 2 of db:U every month. Expect to hear dirty basslines and awesome melodic hooks with a lot of energy. We spin like we produce, so expect to hear that influence come through in our sets, along with the latest from Dangerbox Recordings that you won't get anywhere else!
STERiO
True DJ’s through and through, Kyle Masterson and Brian Zas are out to conquer the likes of anyone with or without the intention to dance. The duo known as STERiO has made quite a bit of headway for themselves in the short time they have been a part of the dance music industry. Breaking out in 2007, STERiO found a home amongst Dangerbox Recordings who granted them the privilege of hosting their own radio show on ETN.fm. There after, the guys expanded their reaches into producing and within a year have gained support from some of the biggest names in the business. Kyle and Brian are now taking their time and honing in on their potential as producers and set out to prove that they are a force to watch out for in the years to come.
Catch them on Dangerbox Universal, along with Dangerbox artists Eric Shaw and Arc every Wednesday on danceradio.gr, and experience the world of influences behind STERiO through their trademark DJ sets that transcend multiple genres.
Guestmixer
Every fourth week will be a special show. Sometimes you are gonna get two full hours from a exclusive guestmixer, sometimes you will get an hour dbU DJ and an hour guestmixer, and other times you will see a combination of two dbU DJs. So make sure you tune in every fourth week of every month for something completely different and brand new. Guestmixers will be announced the week prior, with bios and pics.
