Mainframe, presented by Paul Alexander & Mark J, is a two hour radio broadcast on the number one cutting edge Internet radio station,www.danceradioglobal.com.
Paul and Mark both have nearly 20 years of experience in house music, beginning in their respective residencies in the UK, and involving event creation and promotion, presenting radio shows, artist management and studio production, before both settling in Spain.
They both met nearly 2 years ago in Barcelona at a party, where they were introduced to each other by DJ Angel, and soon discovered their mutual love for progressive sounds. Mark and Paul have both played at Barcelona’s venues, including; Shoko, Sala Instinto, Mondo, The Sugarclub & Pacha Sitges (the first ever Pacha in the world).
Previously, they have performed at the Warehouse (Plymouth), Zap Club (Brighton), Sound Republic (London), Heaven (Gran Canaria), Tovarna Rog Ljubljana (Slovenia), Es Paradis (Ibiza) & The Cross (London).
Paul has a studio in Barcelona he shares with Gabi Newman (Stealth Records) and has featured on Radio 1 Essential Selection nights several times with legendary DJ Pete Tong. Also, Paul was a regular guest on NRG Radio Bournemouth and was also a guest DJ with Judge Jules at Serious nights in London. Mark has DJ-ed all over the UK and he is an independent A&R and manager for vocal diva Kaysee. He also releases co-productions with studio partner Girandon, most recently on Tony Thomas’ Progress Records and their new record label, Radioactivity Productions.
Paul and Mark deliver a first hour mix featuring the latest electronic dance music tracks from the best producers of deep, melodic and progressive house from around the world. The second hour features a guest mix from some of the leading DJs on the progressive house circuit, such as; Mick Wilson (SCBC, TILT, Parks & Wilson), Matthias Bradler (MASHTRONIC), Fede Epis (AUDIO THERAPY), Alex Brown & Mick Park (TERRACOTTA ARMY), Matt Samuels (TOOLROOM) and a very special VIP guest mix to come from the one and only DJ Sasha.
